Young Carers
A young carer is a child or young person who helps to care for a family member due to illness, disability, mental health difficulties, or substance misuse. This may include practical tasks, emotional support, or helping to look after siblings.
If your child is a young carer, please let us know. Sharing this information helps us to better understand their circumstances and ensure we can offer appropriate support within school. We offer support with homework, emotional support, a Young Carers breakfast morning club and much more.
All information will be treated sensitively and in confidence.
