Student Leadership
At The Adeyfield Academy, student leadership is embedded in the school's vision of Learning Without Limits and is underpinned by the core values of Ambition, Respect, Courage, Dignity and Compassion. Students are provided with a wide range of meaningful opportunities to develop their leadership skills and make a positive contribution to the school community. Through regular Student Voice meetings, Student Forum Representatives ensure that the views of young people are heard and help shape key aspects of school life. Goodwill Anti-Bullying Ambassadors champion an inclusive culture where all students feel safe, valued and respected, while Sports Leaders promote participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles through extracurricular activities and competitions. House Representatives play a vital role in organising events and fostering a sense of belonging and friendly competition within the House system. In the Sixth Form, the Student Leadership Team, including Head Students, House Captains and Student Ambassadors, lead by example and support younger students through mentoring, enrichment and community initiatives. Together, these leadership opportunities empower students to become confident, responsible and compassionate young people who actively contribute to the continued development and success of The Adeyfield Academy.
The student leadership ladder has been designed for students to get involved with all elements of school. Our leadership roles are split into three levels:
- emerging
- aspiring
- expert
All levels are designed to help students gain valuable experience in preparation for leadership roles both later in their school journey and beyond.
