I have been a teacher at The Adeyfield Academy for four years. I have felt at home from day one due to the kindness that my colleagues show me and everyone else who works here. We are all very much a team and support each other wherever possible.
CPD is important within our school, and I have been lucky enough to complete my NPQSL whilst working here, however the key reason why I enjoy working at The Adeyfield Academy is because of our students. They are kind, passionate and constantly learning and growing!

The Adeyfield Academy is a friendly, community school where everyone supports each other. My role is interesting and varied, and I find working in education so rewarding. Since I joined The Adeyfield Academy 4 years ago, our leadership team have helped me realise my own potential and I have been fortunate to grow my responsibilities, utilising my existing strengths and providing me with new challenges.
I am now also looking forward to experiencing the Academy as a parent, as my son joined in Year 7 this September.

I have worked here for seven years and have been privileged to watch students start in Year 7 and head off to some of the country’s top and most famous universities.
There was such a warmth about the school environment when I first started that I think has only got stronger as the school has grown. It is great to work in such a collaborative environment where staff genuinely care about you and the students are fantastic - when you get to know them, they are the most loyal students you will come across.

I joined The Adeyfield Academy in September 2022 for the KS3 Computer Science teaching position. Since then, I have enjoyed working with staff at Adeyfield who are polite, friendly and always supportive. I value being a member of the team at The Adeyfield Academy, helping students realise learning without limits!
I have developed positive working relationships with the students, and they are always keen to learn and go above and beyond. I’m looking forward to developing my career further at The Adeyfield Academy.
